Nous sommes partis en route pour le mont Aso, qui est une chaîne de 5 montagnes, avec un volcan qui est toujours actif. La dernière fois que j'ai essayée d'y aller, le volcan émettait des gaz (sulfure) et il y avait trop de brumes pour monter au sommet. Mais, cette fois-ci, nous avons pu!! Ça nous a pris plus de temps pour se rendre au volcan qu'on pensait, mais nous avons pu arriver avant le couché du soleil! :)
We left for Mount Aso, a chain of 5 mountains, one of which is an active volcano. The last time I tried to go there, the volcano was emitting too much sulfuric gas and there was too much fog, so we couldn't go to the top. But this time, we were able to!! The drive took longer than we had thought, but we got there before the sunset!! :)
Après le volcan, nous avons arrêté dans un petit village qui est reconnu à travers le Japon pour ses onsens. Il y en a plusieurs, et quelques-uns sont meilleurs que les autres. Après plusieurs détours, celui qu'on a finalement choisi était merveilleux! Un peu à l'écart du village, mais à côté d'une rivière!! Celui des femmes avait 2 bains. Tu commences dans un des bains, et ensuite, longeant la rivière, tu marches quelques minutes pour te rendre au second......j'vais tellement manquer les onsens!!!!
On the way back, we stopped at a famous onsen region called "Kurokawa". There are many onsens in this little area, some better than others....after many strange twists and turns, we decided to go to an onsen that was just on the outskirt of the "town". It was wonderful!!! It was next to a river, with 2 pools (at least for the women). You went in one, and walked along side the river for a few minutes to get to the other.....I will miss onsens so much!!!!
